Cliff Spink, managing director of Lydd airport, said it was “simply wrong” to include the plan in the council’s assessment. The airport was fully aware of its legal requirements and confident that the council was aware that it could only look at the two planning applications before it. LAAG’s Louise Barton said accusations that Mr Horton was merely expressing the views his client was looking for were “laughable”.
