Don came to public notice on ITVs World of Sport in the late 60s. Some of you may remember him as Kid Stanni the young hopeful who did the most extravagant drop kick, landed on his head and knocked himself out.

In the Punk era he played keyboards with The Assassins of Hope  described by a certain music paper as the assassins of music. Through all this he kept the day job, working as a lecturer. He turned to teaching and demonstrating Salsa, Rock and Roll and Jive in the early 90s. In 1996 he broke his leg falling off the stage in a latin dance extravaganza, but continued teaching dance until 2002. More recently Don has spent time as a pretend gorilla in a well known zoo, is now working as a ski instructor at New Romney piste and living with Brian, his pet snail in a cave on mount Romney.
