Hi, I’m Sarah, I’ve just finished studying my GCSEs in Folkestone but I come from the Romney Marsh and I’ve developed a great interest in radio and really want to pursue it as a career. I have two shows on RMFM, one of them is called the ‘Youth of Today’ and the other which is a music and chat show.

The ‘Youth of Today’ is run alongside Denis Connolly (PCSO for the Romney Marsh), you can check out the ‘Youth of Today’s page here. Basically, the show aims to educate and help young people on the Romney Marsh, any young people listening, and parents of young people too! We want to provide the advice and information that every teenager needs. We also want to act as a voice of teenagers on the Romney Marsh. The ‘Youth of Today’ show is every Monday from 7-9pm.

My Saturday show has been running online from February to the present day, it’s from 5-7pm and it is a fun-packed 2 hours with games, music, entertainment news, and just general chatter. We always play the ‘True or False’ game at around 6pm and everyone is welcome to take part, on email or texts; and the winner gets a brilliant prize! You can hear the Top 20 Music chart near the end and also request your choices of song throughout the show.
