Hi everybody. I started DJ-ing at the ripe young age of 14 playing at youth clubs and village halls around the Romney Marsh using a friend's old black van hence the Black Maria" disco name. In over 20 years of mobile DJ,ing I got to work all over the south east and in Denmark and Spain and even on the cross channel ferries with acts such as Hot Chocolate, Jimmy Jones, The Mersey Beats and Swinging Blue Jeans to name drop just a little!

My first experience of radio was as an evening presenter on RVH radio and during our FM broadcast on Romney Marsh FM I was lucky enough to present the early morning show as a warm up for the award winning David Wimble. I have also been presenting my " Cheery Choonz" show every Monday drivetime, 5-7pm on www.romneymarsh.fm, which features a mixture of music, quizzies and teasers including: "iPod Shuffle", "On This Day", "Spot The Ads" and "Spot The Link", plus the occasional bit of local interaction.  So please join me then!
